Now

What I'm focused on right now. Inspired by nownow.com.

Work

I'm the Director, Office of the CEO at GrayMatter Robotics — an AI-powered robotics company building autonomous manufacturing systems. We raised a $45M Series B and opened a 100,000 sq. ft. innovation center in Carson, California.

Day-to-day I'm building the operating cadence that connects technical capability to business outcomes — investor relations, customer engagements, international expansion, and internal initiative management. My scope is intentionally broad. I fill the gaps that matter most.

Writing

I'm deep in a manufacturing series — researching what the next 50 years of American manufacturing will actually look like. It's a topic most people underestimate. I'm not one of them.

Articles I've recently published or am actively working on:

Learning

Physical AI, robotics deployment economics, and how to translate cutting-edge technology into defensible business value. The gap between "it works in the lab" and "it works at scale in a production environment" is where all the hard problems live.

Also deepening my understanding of agentic AI systems — how orchestration layers between foundation models and tools will reshape how knowledge work gets done.

Side Projects

The Nick and Justin Show — a podcast I co-host with my friend Justin Ortiz. We cover technology, athletics, current events, and whatever's actually on our minds. Available on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.

The Thursday Trailblazer newsletter — every Thursday, one insight on money, careers, or systems that compound. Started it to help my college friends, kept writing because it keeps me honest.

Life

Based in the Bay Area. Proud 🇨🇳🇵🇷. Training for my next athletic milestone. Always planning the next trip — travel is one of the main reasons I took money seriously in the first place.
